Today these are single sourced proprietary solutions that are not compatible with each other and lack the security and bandwidth required for new and modern use cases. This SerDes connection is now set to be standardized for automotive applications with the help of the&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/auto-serdes.org\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>Automotive SerDes Alliance (ASA)<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ASA is a non-profit industry alliance of automotive technology providers collaborating to encourage standardizing of asymmetric, high-performance SerDes technology that address these security and interoperability issues.
